  Honestly, I never expected a rinky dink bagel shop to be so good. This place is amazing.

  Excellent bagels--the best, worth the wait. The staff is mediocre. The atmosphere is not welcoming. The servers barely interact with the customer. You kind of feel guilty for asking for a toasted bagel. I guess when you have the monopoly on the best bagels you can afford to give poor service.

  The bagels are excellent and you can't beat the selection. Prices are reasonable. Expect a wait on weekends, and the service is somewhat chaotic so you have to be vigilant about your order. Staff could use an attitude adjustment.

  Growing up in New York i've had some of the best bagels in the world. BUT nothing compares to the bagels I get at Bethesda Bagels. I know on weekends i'm going to have to wait but its well worth it, and its always fun to hang out with the other bethesda natives while waiting in line.

  Awesome...their sister store is called Whatsa Bagel off Connecticut at Cleveland Park Metro. Their everything bagel is the best and town, and their chive cream cheese is second to none.
