  I've had good meals here, but not last night. We split an antipasto platter - more a small salad than an appetizer and had three glasses of wine between us, two entrees and coffee for just under $100. The service was terrible: for the first time in a long time, I was aware that we were two women getting markedly worse service than the tables around us. The salmon special was good, but the pasta was watery and overdone and my veal bland. The milk curded up in our coffee curded up. After five minutes of trying to flag someone, anyone, to bring the bill I went back to the cash register to get it so that we'd make it back to the car before our meter expired. You have better options.

  Cozy Italian restaurant -- wonderful authentic homemade ravioli dishes and fried calamari. We're first time customers and will be back. Very attentive servers.

  I actually walked out on a dinner here (after asking for the bill for our appetizers). Don't order the house wines or clams. Yuck. So many great Italian places in Bethesda- this is absolutely not worth it.

  I tried three different entrees with friends and was left slightly dissapointed. The food was decent, nothing outstanding. Although ingredients seemed of high quality, portions were small considering prices. The service was also dissapointing. While the servers were nice, they were forgetful and less attentive than servers at most other Bethesda restaurants. I asked for lemon three times and yet it never made it to the table.
