  The best Korean place in Bethesda. The sushi is always good and fresh. The owner/manager is always nice and attentive. Superb portions for the money. Convenient take out service.

  The service is the best part about Ekiben. Bo, the owner, is a young guy who moved to the states a few years ago, saved his money while going to school, and then opened Ekiben. You'll always see him behind the register welcoming the next customer. The food is also delicious and reasonably priced. The boxes are lots of fun - each time I order one the assortments of sides that comes with it is a little different. The maki/rolls are very good. The sushi (fish on top of rice) is a little overpriced and not the best I've had, but since I prefer the rolls anyhow it's no loss to me. The atmosphere is low-key. A good place to go sit with a book. You should go try it out!

  Good restaurant reasonably priced. The sushi is good - tuna was firm, squid velvety, soft shell crab roll very good. Sadly, no sashimi. The rolls in general are larger than usual. The cold bi bim bap was delicious, and the bulgogi as good as others in the area. The decor is nice. The place isn't hopping yet, probably because it's not in the hotter parts of Bethesda, but I hope it sticks around as I haven't seen other Korean places in that area. As good as Hinode but less expensive.
