We were in New Orleans a few weeks ago and enjoyed the food so much we decided yesterday to try NEW ORLEANS BISTRO. We had nothing but typical cajun food, "The Works" seafood and sausage gambo, beignets and pudding with the whiskey sauce (this is the best).

Louisiana Express is now Louisiana Kitchen and it's on Cordell Avenue (Bethesda). Right at the corner of Cordell and Norfolk. Awesome food is back (4907 Cordell Avenue Bethesda, MD)! Same exact menu! I cannot give out five stars because that is not what I do--but if I did, Louisiana Express might deserve them. The andouille suausage fries are something to write home about. For all the awards on the wall and the great ratings it has received, I would have thought the entire experience would have been more fulfilling. First of all, the place is dirty (walls and floor and tables need a good cleaning). Second, the food wasn't cheep for the portion sizes. Lastly, the service was poor. This is one of my favorite places. The thing that i like the best
about it is that its really never crowded or atleast too crowded.
Anyways they have killer Burgers with awsome taste that will kick
your taste bud's ass with flavor
