Mothers Day brunch:
SURPRISE! It's a $40 prix fixe menu. My wife's request to make a substitution on a dish was met by the server's reply: "we'll have to charge more for that."
SERVICE: with a MANDATORY 20% TIP - was fair to middling (server delivered the wrong dish each course to half our guests, didn't attend to water glasses for last half of the meal).
FOOD: good but certainly not spectacular. Sponge cake was served to my teenage daughter full of alcohol.

Love this place. Took a guest from out-of-town who loved the atmosphere and the food. We both had the spinach ravioli and it was great. Had a profiterol for dessert and it was a perfect ending. Good food and not too expensive, either! - 1 Stars for Trattoria Sorrento by tiakiki109 on 03/15/09
I've had good meals here, but not last night. We split an antipasto platter - more a small salad than an appetizer and had three glasses of wine between us, two entrees and coffee for just under $100. The service was terrible: for the first time in a long time, I was aware that we were two women getting markedly worse service than the tables around us. The salmon special was good, but the pasta was watery and overdone and my veal bland. The milk curded up in our coffee curded up. After five minutes of trying to flag someone, anyone, to bring the bill I went back to the cash register to get it so that we'd make it back to the car before our meter expired. I was cautiously optimistic going in but was pleasantly surprised! The buffalo Mozzarella (from Italy) was to die for and the rest of our meal was yummy as well. I look forward to going back. - 1 Stars for Victor's Pizza & Pasta by fugu99 on 02/28/09

this place was Nicks which was great, this place
has bad food and service.
