This is a great building filled with a diverse and nice group of people. It is central to everything and maintained very well. The sitting area out front is also beautiful and relaxing.

Okay, the location is great and the rent is low (relatively), but there are issues.

The management is not so helpful and will not be so available complaining that there is no time as the management recieves "60 calls a day." I have heard of numerous instances where the management has been very rude to female tenants. The walls are all cracked and painted over (rather than fixed). The AC can barely keep temp unless all windows are closed and the main/common area is closed off from the kitchen and bathroom (which don't have working AC units of their own). When work orders are requested to fix the AC notes get left instead in the apartment saying "keeping the blinds closed will help."

    But... the location is great...

The Seasons is great! The people at the leasing office are nice and the residents are friendly. I like the parquay floors and balcony as well as the new appliances. The gym is convenient to get to since it is right downstairs. I really enjoy living here.

  • 1 Stars for Avondale Street, 4507 & 4511 by Disgruntled on 08/03/06

Lived at 4511 from 2003 to mid 2005. Had a horrible experience with the dated appliances and falling apart cabinets and doors. Old cabinets and tiling would constantly rust and break off. Atleast the carpeting was new when I moved in. Absolutly no closet space whatso ever!. The most horrible part of the apartment was the bathroom with door/door handles from the 80s. Handles would constantly keep jamming and appliances in the shower etc would constantly mold and break. How about a ventalation system in there?. Landlord was completly useless, spent more time trying to conjure up scams for tenants ( electric surcharge?) when we are already paying for our electric through an electric company. Any work or repair work would take weeks, depending on when the handyman the landlord had hired would decide to show up. Once again a horrible living experience. The only thing it had going for it was its location. If the landlord spent some money into renovating the place, ie getting rid of all the 70s-80s appliances and remodelling the kitchen and bathroom he could have a pretty sweet set up for that area.

OK, not the most gorgeous apartments, but the rent is great, all utilities are included, and the location can't be beat! The management staff (especially Katie) are incredibly nice and responsive. I lived there two different times over a five year period and really like it.
